Mrs. E. Knowling, of Halifax street, Hilton, has been advised that her youngest son, Pte. H. P. Knowling, 29, has been wounded in action. Pte. Knowling enlisted in June, 1940, and went abroad in October. He was a member of the Semaphore Rifle Club before he enlisted.
