Usually referred to as Ernest Frederick Onley.

Son of Alfred James Onley and Lilian Onley nee Rodway of Flinnstead (Flynnstead formerly Flynn's Creek), Victoria. Flynns Creak runs through an area it is not actually a town the closest town being Traralgon.

Commenced return to Australia on 8 November 1918 aboard HT Gaika disembarking on 29 December 1918
