Guy Colbey was the first child born in Perth to Roy Johnstone and Norah Kate (BYRNE) COLBEY.
The family returned to SA where Guy attended Unley High, winning the Senior Athletics Cup in 1929 and was runner up in the Cup in 1930.
He married Olive Melva PARROT 11 April 1942 at the Moseley Square Methodist Church, Glenelg.
After discharge, Guy was employed as a postal officer by the Commonwealth of Australia.
Guy and Olive had 7 children.
