Douglas Graham Verco  was awarded a Life Membership in 1982 proposed by Bordertown.  His service to the RSL included hi work on the executive as president 1969-70, Vice president 1964 to 68; secretary 1974 to 76 and the Welfare and pension officer 1979 to 82.  Bordertown Football Club and Bowling Club.
