"...6/4604 Private Eric Keith Bates, 3rd Battalion, the Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), of Ulverstone, Tas. Pte Bates was killed in action in Korea on 7 March 1951. He was 25 years old, and was originally buried at Tanggok Cemetery. He was reinterred at United Nations Memorial Cemetery, Busan (Pusan), Korea." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
