Biography

Gladstone Arthur A'COURT was born on 16th July, 1920 in Clifton Hill, Victoria

His parents were Arthur John A'COURT and May Elizabeth ANSETT

He enlisted first with the Australian Army on 17th January, 1941 and was discharged on 17th December, 1941  S/N  V132227 (Private)

He subsequently joined the Royal Australian Air Force on 22nd May, 1942  S/N 418496 as a pilot officer (467 Squadron)

He was killed in a flying battle on 22nd June, 1944 in Germany in a Lancaster ED532

Buried in Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Germany Ref. 12 E2
