Pilot Officer Andrus 4139 (49750), a Pilot from the RAAF Armament School, was carrying out camera-gun training on the ground when he was struck by an aircraft which crash landed on the aerodrome at Point Cook in Victoria
His daughter died in a car accident in 1951 and they are both commemorated in the same chapel in Sydney

Kenneth Shenton ANDRUS was born in Perth, Western Australia on 18th September, 1898
His parents were Henry ANDRUS & Marion Frances Shenton FRENCH who married in Plantagenet, Western Australia in 1897
He married Virginia Gwendoline HOUGH in Perth, WA on 23rd January, 1926
He had previously served with the New Zealand Mounted Rifles & the Otago Infantry (NZ) before coming to Australia and enlisting in the RAAF on 17th January, 1942
Kenneth died in an accident in Werribee, Victoria on 23rd March, 1942 when he was struck by an aircraft which crash landed

His Father Henry ANDRUS served with the New Zealand Medical Corps during WW2 and died suddenly from valvular heart disease while waiting for a comrade at Weybridge Station in England.
