Brian Blake APSEY was born on 27th June, 1922 in Mosman, Sydney, NSW although he stated on his war records he was born in 1920
His parents were Edward Herbert APSEY & Dorothy Helen Eddington BLAKE who married at Christ Church, St Kilda, Victoria on 14th January, 1920
His father Edward served for 4 years in WW1 (SN1113) & returned to Australia in 1919 and his grandfather Edward Henry ( SN 1655) also served in WW1 and returned to Australia in 1917
