Sig. D. M. Argo, ol Richmond (missing in Malaya or Singapore) was a telephone mechanic at the G.P.O. He was educated at the De La Salle College, Malvern, and Christian Bros.', Richmond.

DIED IN P O W CAMP
Signaller David Argo, elder son of Mr and Mrs M. Argo, of Church St, Richmond, is reported to have died on May 25, 1945, while a prisoner of war in Borneo. He was educated at De Salle College, Malvern, and at St Ignatius' Christian Brothers' College, Richmond. At the time of his enlistment in July, 1940, he was training as a technician in the engineering branch of the PMG's Department. In the AIF he was attached to the 8th Division Signals, Technical Maintenance Section.
