Allan Lumsden AULSEBROOK was born on 10th June, 1918 in Burwood, NSW

His parents were John Lumsden AULSEBROOK and Elizabeth Annie ROWLEY who married in Sydney in 1914

He enlisted at Hornsby on 6th August, 1940 - he was a Lance Corporal with the Australian Army Canteen service

Allan died in Cowra Military Hospital on 23rd June, 1945 and is buried in the Cowra War Cemetery - his name is commemorated on the Australian War Memorial and the Roll of Honour in Pennant Hills, NSW

He was awarded the Defence Medal and the Australian Service Medal
