John was born 3rd May 1916 at Wellington in the UK, and prior to the war he was a farm hand Qualeup WA. He served with the 2nd/16th Inf Bn as a private soldier. Unfortunately, he was Killed In Action 15th Sept 1942. Rest In Peace. Lest We Forget.
