HIS DUTY NOBLY DONE
Pilot Officer Hadley and crew were detailed to operate in Lancaster aircraft No. W 4329 against Bechum on the night of the 12th June 1943. The aircraft left base at the appointed time and since then nothing has been hear of either the aircraft or the crews.
It has been reported missing presumably as the result of enemy action.
