He was a Flight Sergeant in 460 Squadron - plane was a Wellington Bomber Mark IV (A1388)


Bernards brother Frederick Walter Cecil BALLEINE (SN PA1861), Royal Australian Navy also lost his life in WW2 on 27th November, 1941 on the HMAS Parramatta which was lost at sea
