Plane was Catalina A24-25 and was acting as anti submarine escort of a convoy heading for MIlne Bay

Last communcation was that it was forced to land. 3 days of searching failed to find any evidence of A24-25 location

Sports played were Golf, Rowing, Swimming, Tennis
