THE SAD NEWS that their elder son VX44182 Pte Kenneth George Barnes (2/10th Field Cos., R.A.E.), died while a prisoner on Borneo on May 1st has been received by Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Barnes, of Scoresby. News of Ken’s death was a blow, not only to them and their family but to the whole district, for he was a very popular lad
