Biography contributed by Geoffrey Gillon

Australian Infantry-2/28th Inf. Bn.

He was 35 and the son of Hamilton and Eliza Barnett, of Largs, Ayrshire, Scotland.

There is a Henry B. Barnett honoured on the Largs War Nemorial; it is confidently believed that the middle initial is in error and it is Private Barnett that is intended

He is one of 9 Australian war casualties buried in Caserta War Cemetery.
