Victor Barns was born in Whitechapel,London to Victor Morris Getz and Jennie/Janey Bloch. Gates sometimes used instead of Getz.
Jennie/Janey married William Thomas Barns in 1922.
Survived by his mother, step-father, brother Ross Gates and half brothers Edwin and William Barns.
