Flt-Sgt Michael Barrett-Lennard (23), son of Mr and Mrs G. Barrett-Lennard of Kondut, who has been reported missing as a result of air operations over enemy occupied territory. He was educated at the Northam High School where he was an outstanding student and at the University of Perth where he was a civil engineering student. Flf-Sgt Barrett-Lennard was serving with the RAAF in England.

Michael Godfrey BARRETT-LENNARD was born in Guildford, Western Australia on 13th June, 1920

His parents were George Graham BARRETT-LENNARD & Maud Gladys Hastings HESTER who married in WA in 1912

460 Squadron. Plane was DV 219 & was shot down by enemy fighter at 22.30pm and crashed at Bramstedt, Germany
