Warwick Melville BEAUCHAMP was born in Auburn, Sydney, New South Wales on 9th March, 1924

His parents were Henry (Harry) Cecil BEAUCHAMP & Mary Winifred MOLLOY who married in England in 1922 (registered in Southwark, London)

He enlisted in Sydney on 24th April, 1942 with the Royal Australian Air Force - his last rank was a Flight Sergeant with the 160 Squadron (RAF)

Warwick died in a Flying Batttle on 19th April, 1944 at Sigiriya, Ceylon after his Liberator aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff while on a dive bombing attack on the enemy , he is buried in the Colombo (Liveramentu) Cemetery in Sri Lanka - his name is memorialsed on the Australian War Memorial

His grandfather Henry Cecil BEAUCHAMP served during WW1 (SN 1211) in the 2nd Remount Unit and returned to Australia in 1916 - he also served in British Units
