Davids family tree...
My name is Alf Beharie, from London, UK. David Beharrie was born on 15th December 1915 in Sidney, Australia and he was my 3rd cousin. His great, great, Grandfather was my great, great, great Grandfather...Alexander Beharie (Born:1744 in Strathmartine, Dundee, Scotland, Died: 9th August 1844). His great, great Grandmother (and my great, great, great Grandmother was Margaret Mackie (Born:1775 in Benvie, Dundee, Scotland, Died: 17th July 1853).
His great Grandfather (William Beharie, a Machine maker, Born 1808, Died 1st January 1854) and his Grandfather (George Patton Beharrie, Born: 21st April 1849, Died: 20th Febuary 1897, in Millbank, Dundee, Scotland) were both born in Scotland, and died there but his father, Martin Hansen Beharrie (Born:1st May 1886 in Dundee, Scotland) emigrated to Australia. He died in June 1968 in Sidney, Australia.
David died in Branbant-Le-Roi, a small village in North Eastern France, about 50 miles South East of Reims, possibly in a military hospital there.
His bother, Marftin, survived the war and went on to have great, great, great Grandchildren, who are still living in Australia today.
