Sergeant Cecil Kenneth Berriman 402102 RAAF and Sergeant Harold Gough Waller 400072 RAAF of 39 Squadron RAF were killed when Maryland AH361 crashed in Sollum Bay, Egypt

Also killed were Sergeant Gordon Murray Holstead 943237 RAF and Sergeant Samuel Crothers 521631 RAF

Their bodies were not recovered and they are commemorated on the Alamein Memorial
