Flight Sergeant Aubrey Griffith Bicknell 413710 (Wireless Air Gunner) of Number 27 Operational Training Unit was dangerously injured during an enemy bombing raid at Gates Corner, Woodford Green on the 7th of October 1943 while he was off duty and on leave in London

He died from his injuries on the 15th of October 1943
