Leslie Hendrik Biesiot was the son of Hendrik and Hilda Maud Biesiot; husband of Lorna Josephine Biesiot, of South Fremantle, Western Australia.
Pilot Officer Leslie Hendrik Biesiot's Stirling Bomber LK501 on take off from RAF Wratting Common Cambridge a fire broke out in the port outer engine, spreading quickly to the fuselage. The Short Stirling bomber crashed at Horse Heath, Cambridgeshire.
