HIS DUTY NOBLY DONE

Pilot-Officer Herbert Henry Boler was the son of Ernest William and May Sarah Boler, of Bexley, New South Wales. He attended Cronulla and Hurstville Schools, finishing his education at the Canterbury High School. He enlisted with the Air Force on 27 May 1940, being in camp at Bradfield and Narromine. He left for Canada in October, and arrived in England in February 1941. P-O Boler was accidentally killed in an aircraft on 18 April 1941 at Bassingbourn, Cambridgeshire, England.
