"ROLL OF HONOUR - BOURKE.
In memory of our dear brother, Sapper Lionel Bourke, NX101358,
died suddenly, June 29, 1945.
To think you could not say good-bye
Shall always bring regret.
But the ones that loved you best
Are the ones that don't forget.
Ever remembered by his sisters, Allie, Eileen, brothers-in-law, Gordon, Ernie,
brother, Steve, sister-in-law, Talis, and Mrs. Parkes
Son of John and Mary Elizabeth Bourke".
