Son of William Guy Broughton BOYDELL and Roi St. George KEMP, of Mosman who married in Seoul, Korea on 14th November, 1919

Mosquito HR576 of Number 618 Squadron RAF was on flight test from Mascot Airport when it crashed following wing failure killing the pilot, Flight Lieutenant David George Rochford RAF 106025 from Trinidad, and LAC Boydell 444885 RAAF an Aircrew trainee who was along as a passenger.

BOYDELL.-May 2, 1945, 444885, L.A.C. Charles Broughton Boydell (killed in plane accident), beloved only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Guy B. Boydell, 56 Shadford Street, Mosman, and dearly loved brother of  Justine, aged 24 years.
