Allan Peter BUCHBACH was born at Pimpama Island, Queensland on 2nd February, 1915

His parents were Johannes Frederick Carl BUCHBACH & Annie Isobella ROE who married in Brisbane on 31st January, 1906

He was Killed in Action in Egypt on 5th May , 1941

His obituary from the newspaper reads:

" Many a lonely heatache, often a silent tear

but always a beautiful memory

of one we loved so dear"

1. Mervyn Bernard BUCHBACH ( QX57738) and (Q108778) - discharged on 8th April, 1946 - 5th Australian Division Provost Company

2. Thomas Eric Selwyn BUCHBACH (Q103853) - discharged on 21st October, 1945 - Private with 4th Battalion, Volunteer Defence Corp, Queensland
