Son of Patrick and Annie Edith Buckman, of Kings Cross, New South Wales, Australia.

HIS DUTY FEARLESSLY AND NOBLY DONE. FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS

Aircraft failed to return from an operational mission over enemy territory on the night of 3/4th March 1945.  He was a member of crew Lancaster Aircraft detailed to attack enemy target at Ladgergen Germany which failed to return to base presumably due to enemy action.
