Phillip Fothergill BURROUGHS was born in North Sydney on 14th February, 1921
His parents were Frederick Stephen BURROUGHS & Beatrice May ROWE who married in St Pauls Rectory, Lithgow, NSW on 29th June 1908
He married Edna Doris CRISP on 27th January, 1943 at the RAF in Ridnal, Birmingham, UK
Phillip died in a Flying Battle over Tunisia on 13th April, 1943 - last rank was Flight Sergeant with the 232 Squadron of the RAF
