Leading Aircraftman Sydney Carr 17853 from Number 5 Embarkation Depot in Perth was fatally injured in a collision between a train and a RAAF bus at Guildford in Western Australia

Also injured was LAC William Charles Lee 17591 who was discharged from the RAAF in November 1945 while posted to 76OBU (details of the incident are from his pers file)
