Sergeant Anthony Edward Carter 402012 (Observer - formerly with 70 Operational Training Unit) was killed - his body was not recovered and he is commemorated on the Alamein Memorial
Flying Officer Frank Edward Wilcox 84295 RAF and Flying Officer James Nicholas Gordon Bateman 88435 RAF became POWs along with Sergeant John Robert Bell 404137 RAAF (discharged as a Warrant Officer 25 Jan 1946)
