Sergeant Chapman 401102 of 21SQN (attached to 453SQN) RAAF was killed when Brewster Buffalo AN-174 was shot down near Sembawang, Malaya

He is mentioned in the book "Buffaloes over Singapore" by Brian Cull

His body was not recovered and he is commemorated on the Singapore Memorial
