His parents were George James CHIDGZEY & Constance Emma JOHNSON who married in WA in 1910

His brother George Vernon Robert CHIDGZEY who was a Lieutenant in the Army during WW2 (SN WX604) was Killed in Action in New Guinea on 15th May, 1945
