Sergeant Collins 439746 and Flight Lieutenant Walton 16671 from 8OTU were killed when Wirraway aircraft A20-120 and A20-526 collided in mid-air approximately 10 miles south of Narromine in NSW

The other crewman in A20-526 survived the incident - Flying Officer Rupert Henry William Gregory 401944 and there was no passenger in the other aircraft
