grandfather
My mother searched for this man all her life. He disappeared without trace she was aged 8.. He was married with 3 young children. He was married to Mabel Cook née Kuschert from Daysdale NSW.
William Stanley Cook was searched for all my life until Grandma Mabel deceased and my mother Joyce and Brothers Hayden and Stan passed. This story is so sad if this is him born at Rutherglen Vic. My mother Joyce was born in 1920.
Their mother Mable eventually remarried.
Their sons Hayden and Stanley Cook were both servicemen. Who searched for there father and Stan was in the navy.
Obviously by this I see he remarried so I wonder if any NOK are aware.
His mother lived in Corowa and died of a broken heart looking for William Stanley.
I have his details and suddenly finding this after all these years but my father was a Second World War veteran and the ship that William Stanley was on was torpedoed by allies of which I now know.
