Father Dreamed ..
Of Son's Death
A few, hours after dreaming that his only son, Private Robert George Cooksey, was dead, Mr. R. Cooksey, of Lidcombe, received oflicial news that he had died of wounds received  in action at Bougainville. "I couldn't shake off a dread feeling that the dream was going to come true," Mr. "Cooksey said yesterday. "Only a few weeks ago, our boy wrote saying he  would be home on leave soon,and my wife and I had just completed preparationsfor his arrival" he added.  Mr Cooksey said that he and his wife would visit their son's grave as soon as possible. Aged 21, Private Cooksey was born at Parramatta and was educated at Parramatta West Public School
