Son of Edward Cuthbert and Ida Patricia Corbett

Husband of Lorraine Marie Corbett of East Malvern, Victoria

 

Corporal Cuthbert was employed at RAAF Headquarters Melbourne in the Directorate of Stores Accounts (DSA) and on the day of his injury was taking part in a work sporting event.

He was struck in the head by a softball on the 8th of September 1943 and died at Number 6 RAAF Hospital in Heidelberg the next day with his family present.
