Son of Richard and Ivy Curtis; stepson of Margretta Curtis of Yamba, NSW

 

Flying Officer Curtis 36160 RAF was killed in the loss of RAF 8SQN Blenheim L8503 at sea near Aden on return from an operational flight - also killed were: Sergeant V H S Witt and Leading Aircraftman H J McEleavy
