Louis Job Waldock DAVIS was born in Hornsey, Middlesex, London, UK on 27th January 1893 under the name of William Job DAVIS

His parents were Job DAVIS & Mary Ann (Polly) SPARKS who married in Middlesex, UK on 14th June 1891

He had previously served in the British Army Medical Corp (SN 5618) & the Royal Navy (SN1750) under the name of William Job WALDOCK 

He married Emma Louise Theresa HEILSCHER nee SENGSTOCK in Queensland on 30th January, 1928 - she was previously married on 24th May, 1902 in Queensland to Ernest Theodore HEILSCHER & was survived by 4 sons & 3 daughters

Emma died in Sydney on 22nd July, 1928

His second marriage was to Emily Julia HUMBERSTONE in Sydney in 1929
