Clarence Lorrain DE FAYE was born in Melbourne in Victoria on 24th February, 1919

His parents were Louis John DE FAYE & Claudine Maude THOMPSON who married in Victoria in 1911

His brother John DE FAYE (SN VX35490) of the 27th Brigade, Australian Army Service Corp was also a prisoner of war and died on 3rd January, 1945
