HIS DUTY NOBLY DONE. EVER REMEMBERED
The engagement is announced of Philma Enniss, only child of Mr. and the late Mrs. F. W. Howard, South Road, to Corporal Cyril Keith Deed, R.A.A.F., second son of Mrs. and the late Mr. H. Deed, Bendigo, Victoria. - 16 March 1943
DEED.-In . cherished memory of my beloved fiancee, Flt.-Sgt. Cyril Keith Deed, killed in action over Holland, December 24, 1944. Greater love hath no man than this, That he lay down his life for a friend.
They said that time would heal my pain
And teach me to forget,
But time has only taught me, dear,
How much I miss you yet.
