Parents: - James Dougan and Annie Crossan married in Scotland.

Details of death: - Sapper Robert Dougan was accidently killed whilst attending Sawyers Refresher Course No 51, where he was struck on the neck by a piece of timber thrown by the circular saw on the bench he was employed as a sawyer, this occurred at approximately 11.00 hours on 22nd August 1944.
