Son of John and Daisy Doris Duncan, of Serpentine, Western Australia.

Ian died in the crash of an Avro Anson W-2253 approximately 70 miles S.W. of Bairnsdale at Yarram, Vic.

DUNCAN (Sgt-Pilot Ian Laddie).—As result of an aircraft accident, Yarram, Victoria, on May 21, Lad, dearly beloved son of Jock and Daisy Duncan (Chidlow), dearest brother of Dulce, Bob (RAAF) and  brother-in-law of Moira, aged 21 years.
We will always remember you smiling.
