FATAL MOTOR ACCIDENT
After colliding with a car, which was considerably damaged, a military truck, driven by Thomas Patrick Dunn, a N.S.W. soldier, swerved across the road near Staplyton on Monday evening and hit some of the guide posts, then went over. Dunn was thrown many yards away on to the bitumen when, he sustained a fractured skull. He and two other inmates of the truck were brought to a Southport military hospital when Dunn passed away early on Tuesday morning. Those in the carwas not hurt.
