A very serious accident occurred here late on Tuesday night when Cpl. Dunne of the RAAF had the misfortune to fall off one of the trucks in which he was returning to the drome after being on leave in town during the evening.
He was injured very severely and his condition is critical at the moment, but Dr Pope from Marble Bar and an Air Force Doctor are in attendance and everything possible is being done to save his life.
