Son of Bertram and Emily Hannah Dunnell, of West End, Queensland, Australia.
NOT JUST TODAY BUT EVERY DAY WE REMEMBER YOU
Mr. and Mrs. B. Dunnell, of Ferry Street, West End, have been advised that their son, Private Harry Dunnell was killed in action on August 17. In a letter from the acting leader of his son's platoon, Mr. Dunnell has been told that his son "died with his face lo the enemy, He always stuck to is guns and did his duty well."
Private Dunnell, who enlisted two years ago, was 28 years of age. He was a former pupil of the West End State School.
