The details provided are taken from the book "1000 Men at War" - the history of the 2nd/16th Infantry Battalion. Harry was born at Katanning WA 15th Dec 1917, and prior to the war he was a labourer at Woodanilling WA. He served with the 2nd/16th Inf Bn. Unfortunately, he was Killed In Action in New Guinea 30th August 42. Rest In Peace. Lest We Forget.
