Son of William Benjamin and Edith Ethel Maude Edye, of Orange, New South Wales, Australia.

HIS DUTY FEARLESSLY AND NOBLY DONE. EVER REMEMBERED

Bruce enjoyed Football and played with the Mosman Rugby Union Football Club, Surfing and was a member of the North Sydney Surf Life Saving club, Sailing and Tennis.

Mrs. W. B. Edye, in honor of her son's 22nd birthday, specially decorated the altar at Holy Trinity Church yesterday, with the assistance of Mrs. Paton. The Air Force colors, blue and while hyacinths,  white lilies, ailiums and two christening mugs were used. It will be recalled that Pilot Officer Edye was reported missing after an aerial engagement over enemy territory.
