Son of Stephen Patrick and Ethel May Elwood of 25 Airlie Street, South Yarra

Plane was Lancaster 1 PB 864 which went down near Cherourg, France possibly due to a structual failure while on a training flight

Subjects studied and passed at school - Maths, Algebra, French, Latin, Chemistry, Physics, English. Subject failed - Geometry

Attended the Melbourne University - Studied and passed , French, Chemistry, Commercial Law, Mathmatics 1
