Court of Inquiry convened 30th November 1943 concluded Staff Sergeant Thomas Enright died as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Type of injuries noted as ruptured bladder, fractured pelvis and tibular in right thigh, resulting in heart failure. He was on leave when the accident occurred on 8th October 1943 at the corner of Glyde St and Stirling Highway, Mosman Park. The driver of the car in which he was a passenger, was his brother in law Sergeant Richard Turpin.
